The Lake District

We meet at Rainham Girls School where we have an airy and modern lecture room. We have the room from 8pm to 10pm and have access from 7.30pm to set up any equipment for the evening. It has all the facilities that we require and very importantly, has a large car park. The tea urn is constantly on the go!

To reach the Rainham Girls School:
From Rainham: Towards Gillingham on the A2, turn left up Salisbury Avenue
and on reaching the T junction, turn right into Derwent Way. Proceed to the
end and into the school gates, turning sharp left (signed Rainham School for Girls). Go through the barrier to T junction and turn right (signed Netball Centre). Go past the Centre on your left and to the end where the car park is. (There is overflow parking if necessary). Walk up the slope and in through door in the centre front of the building.

From Gillingham:  Across roundabout at Rainham Mark {Tesco's} to traffic
lights at Bloors Lane, taking the outside lane. Turn right into Salisbury
Avenue and then follow above instructions.
see you there!"

The programme for the year is displayed on the programme of events page to enable you to choose an evening as the club does not meet every week of the year. Members range from the experienced with impressive letters after their names to beginners who are encouraged at every stage to enter and take part in all the club activities.

Learning digital imaging? This is the place for you, there is a fairly large group of members in various stages of learning Photoshop and producing digital prints either from digital cameras or scanning from slides, there is so much to talk about we run out of time on clubnights.

There is a warm friendly atmosphere within the club and everyone is made very welcome, members wear their name badges so you'll never be lost for a name, refreshments are served at about 9pm so come along and join in all the fun and companionship of photography. For more information contact John Amey who will be pleased to furnish any more information you need
