Great night last night with the club’s first model night of the season. Members had the opportunity to use studio lights, give directions, and try a variety of light settings. Thank you to the very professional and lovely Nicola who was very helpful to all members and I’m sure we will be seeing her again back at the club. Hi I’m planning to go to Richmond Park London on Sunday 22nd October to try and photograph the red deer as it is in the middle of the rutting season and if we can get there around 0730 when daylight breaks we may get the mist assuming we can find the deer. A great start to the season with several new members joining and looking at some of their imagesthey are already very talented photographers, which bodes well for the club. The first night lookedat some ways to set up still life using restricted spaces and just the one light source. The Minibus was booked, seats filled the day of the trip to Broadstairs arrived, members were picked up from sheerness and Parkwood Shopping Centre and we set off on our way to the seaside for a few hrs of photography, the weather was fantastic along with great company lots of images were taken, here is a small selection. A very good Evening with Judge Kevin Bell “LRPS” he was given a hard task with the amount of good images to choose from and he gave constructive comments on the images, this was an unusual evening when he came to marking as.
