Photoshoots with Dave
The sun is shining and England are in a final so it is going to be a good day I put together some dates that I intend on going out with the camera (and tripod) and you are more than welcome to join me. I appreciate these may be during the school holidays but as some are in the evening or in non-tourist areas this should not affect us too much. There are no competitions involved and the plan is to get established members to help newer members with camera settings, composition, and trying different angles that maybe would not have been thought of. I am also considering three days…

Model Night Follow Up
Great night last night with the club’s first model night of the season. Members had the opportunity to use studio lights, give directions, and try a variety of light settings. Thank you to the very professional and lovely Nicola who was very helpful to all members and I’m sure we will be seeing her again back at the club. Attached are some of the images that members took and well done to everyone for making the evening a success.

Richmond Park
Hi I’m planning to go to Richmond Park London on Sunday 22nd October to try and photograph the red deer as it is in the middle of the rutting season and if we can get there around 0730 when daylight breaks we may get the mist assuming we can find the deer. I’ve attached a guide that you may find useful, https://www.simonwilkes.co.uk/blog/a-guide-to-photographing-richmond-park/ My thoughts are that it’s best to take a couple of cars to minimise the cost. We should also be able to get some great autumn shots plus anything we see with a pulse (non-human) like birds, squirrels, or even gorillas :). I’ll add to Facebook as well…
