A big thank you to Paul Haffenden who provided the Club with an excellent evening of Desk Top photography. It was a fun night and we all learnt something. Paul is a fine art photographer who teaches photography and Photoshop. He runs the photography courses for Medway Adult Education.

The new season now seems to be in full swing with the first internal competition now held. This season we are encouraging our members to get physical with their images! In a drive to encourage members to enter the Club’s internal print competitions we are providing all members with access to free blank mount boards which tonight we will also be teaching them to cut.

Are you excited about the new season starting tomorrow? Here at Club HQ there has been a lot of activity to ensure that the new season programme is ready to fire on all cylinders. We look forward to seeing you at the Netball Centre, Rainham School for Girls, Derwent Way, Gillingham ME8 0BX tomorrow 5th September 2019 at 7:45pm.

Membership renewal is due at the start of the season – 5th September 2019. Subscriptions will be as follows:- Normal – £30 Seniors (65+) – £25 To make payment please complete a membership form and hand this together with a cheque (made payable to Reflex Photographic Club) or the correct cash to Treasurer, David Tovey. You will be provided with a membership number as soon as your payment has been processed.

The Club’s Annual Exhibition at Hempstead Valley Shopping Centre is fast approaching. It will be held on 23rd and 24th August 2019, from 9:00am to 7:00pm on both days. The exhibition will be situated outside Timpsons and Dorothy Perkins, near Sainsburys. We look forward to seeing you there!  

The Club’s summer “Out and About” will take place this Sunday in Folkestone. We will be meeting at 12:00pm outside Follies on the Harbour Arm approach road. There is a lot to see and do in the Folkestone area, the high street (old and new), harbour arm and beach and within walking distance is the Zig Zag Path and Lower Leas Coastal path.
