A super start to this season’s competitions with the first round of the Club’s Digital League. This week our very own Su Flood took us through the images she selected from the 6 summer challenges that were run over the summer break (June, July and August 2021).  It was a super opportunity for members to see Su’s top picks across the challenges and learn from her critique and commentary with the aim of improving our photography.  back / Next / Home

This was the Club’s first physical lecture of the season (and in a very long time), on Long Exposure Photography with Derek Michalski. Derek’s presentation provided a lot of useful tips, tricks and inspiration for members. We are so pleased to be back to meeting physically. It was great to see members back in the room and once again sharing their love of photography. It was a great start to the season and although not every week will be a physical meeting, the majority will be wherever possible.

A fantastic presentation by photographer Paul Haffenden. Found Image/Object really got us thinking about where inspiration for our photography could come from, for example, the family album could inspire a journey to where an image was taken by our relatives/ancestors and maybe we might have a go at recreating the image. So many inspiring ideas and a very enjoyable evening.
